Today we welcomed a group of Principals, Directors of Education and Head Teachers to visit Hob Moor Oaks and Hob Moor Primary with Ebor’s Director of Education. It was wonderful to be able to share with them the uniqueness of both schools as a Federation and also the amazing work which we do within the school, community and the Local Authority. They were all very interested in our specialist curriculum, branch map assessment and the classroom provision within the school for all of our pupils. Hopefully we will be able to make some new links with other special schools across the country to network and share our expertise, and also learn about them.
Our Phase Leaders are working hard to plan for curriculum visits this half term. These will be linked to our “Preparation for Life” curriculum and also our progressive curriculum through school. Please look out for letters coming home in the next week or two with more information about these visits.
Just a reminder that as the weather is interchangeable at the moment, please ensure that your child has appropriate clothes for the conditions. Class teams are more than happy to have an extra set of wet weather clothes, including wellies, in the classroom if you would like to send a set in to stay in school!
Just a reminder that we have Flu immunisations on Thursday 19th October. Please use the link shared by the admin team if you would like your child to have their immunisation.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Hopefully the lovely weather will continue for a few more days.
