We’re thrilled you’re exploring our EYFS, where every child’s unique journey is celebrated and supported. Here, our youngest learners thrive in a nurturing and stimulating environment specially designed to meet their individual needs and SEND. We believe in fostering a love for learning through play, discovery, and personalised support, helping each child reach their full potential at a pace that is appropriate to their individual learning journey.
Every pupil is unique. On arrival at Hob Moor Oaks, we will begin to build positive relationships with your child and develop a thorough assessment of their starting point. This will include aspects of their Educational, Health and Care Plans. Ongoing observations are crucial to understand their strengths, needs, interests, and preferred learning styles. We will also work in partnership with parents/carers, and other professionals (e.g. therapists, medical staff) to help your child reach their full potential.
The EYFS framework will be adapted and differentiated to meet individual needs. This means a focus on developing communication, social skills, physical development, and cognitive abilities in ways that are meaningful and accessible to each child.
