Dear Parents and Carers,
Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2025! We were greeted with lovely smiles on children’s faces on Tuesday as the children returned to school routines.
Thank you for sharing so many of your Christmas moments on Tapestry; opening Christmas presents for the first time ever, learning to crawl, sharing
special interactions with visiting family members, days out and visits to new places and just the quiet days – thank you for sharing these parts of your lives
with us, we really do love to see these, and talk to the children about them.
Although this half term is a short one, we have lots of things planned for the children. Our educational visits are Orchard Phase to visit Homestead Park,
Woodland Phase to take a journey to Hull to visit Little Astronauts and Forest Phase to take a train ride from York station! We have a live production of “Beauty And The Beast” visiting us on 21st January. This will get us in the mood for more live entertainment from our older pupils
who will be performing our own version of “HMO Greatest Show”. Branches, Roots, Trunks, Boughs, Catkins, Oak Leaves, Woods and Oak Trees will be
showcasing their talents on Wednesday 29th January at 10am and Thursday 30th January at 1:45pm. All families are invited to come and watch. We will send
information regarding audience numbers closer to the time. Throughout the Autumn term we supported our new pupils to engage in our weekly “Golden Leaf” assembly. We are really keen to invite you back into
sharing these celebrations with us. From Monday 20th January, parents will receive a ParentHub message if their child is receiving a certificate. The
messages will be sent on a Thursday, in preparation for the following Monday. E.g. If you receive a message on Thursday 16th January, then join us at the
assembly on Monday 20th January at 9:30am.
