Dear Parents and Carers,
While it has only been a 6 week half term, it seems to have flown by and, as usual, we have had many wonderful learning opportunities for our pupils. We have had a number
of curriculum visits. Pupils in Orchard Phase went to the Homestead Park whilst those in Woodland Phase travelled to Little Astronauts Soft Play Centre in Hull. And our Forest
Phase children enjoyed a train journey from York to Poppleton. We also had two performances of our fantastic “HMO’s Greatest Show”.
Last week, we hosted an inschool visit for 20 Pathfinder Initial Teacher Training students. The students spent time in classes, then had the opportunity to learn about our
classroom provision, curriculum and school. It was wonderful to hear such positive feedback from them about what their “golden moments” and “takeaways” were from the
time they spent with our pupils.
This half term we have said “goodbye” to Rhianne Malcolm, one of our Health Care Assistants. We wish her lots of luck as she leaves to spend more time with her young
family.
