Dear Parents and Carers,
We started our week at Hob Moor Oaks with some baby news . Aimee Williams, from our Wellbeing Team, had her baby last Friday. Theodore Williams was born weighing 4.37lb at 11:45 am exactly 5 weeks early . We are all sending Aimee & Paul lots of love and best wishes as they start their journey as a family of 3.
It has been wonderful to see so many of our pupil’s “Special Men” join us in school this afternoon. We had a superb range of activities taking place across the classes and phases. These included an outdoor sensory circuit, a small world & role play, a sensory play story, food technology, PE/MATP and music. I hope that everyone who attended had a fantastic time.
We are in the process of planning for our Sports Day. As always, we will keep a close eye on the weather as the day approaches. This year, we are encouraging all classes to design class t-shirts with their pupils. Please could you send in a t-shirt which your child can create a design on as soon as possible so they can start to work on these in the classroom. More information about Sports Day, including timings, will be shared next week.
Over the next fortnight, our final two groups of Year 6 pupils will be going on residential to Lea Green. We will share some photos of the pupils at the end of term following our Leavers Celebration. Fundraising over the year is vital so that we can not only raise money to support the Lea Green Residentials but also help with new resources and visitors in school which assist our “topic ignitions”.
I’ve attached our School Lottery poster, which includes a QR code ,to the letter. This is a weekly lottery where you can win cash prizes AND boost the school’s funds! Please share with your friends and family.
Wishing you a lovely weekend.
