Today we have celebrated Children in Need with a non-uniform day and lots of spotty activities within the classroom. Thank you for your donations, we will share with you how much we raised next week.
This week Gemma, Laura and I met with lots of our Year 6 families to talk about the Residential to Lea Green in the summer term; thank you to those families who attended. It was lovely to share our wonderful past experiences of Lea Green, and answer parent’s questions & encourage you all to give consent for the visit. As part of our whole school fundraising for opportunities, including Lea Green, we take part in the Your School Lottery. On Wednesday, we had a whole school training session with Shelley Nicol, Senior Teacher for the Deaf and Hearing Support Team, around Hearing Impairments & the support that she, and her team, provides for children in school.
Parents evenings will take place on 28th & 29th November. These will be 15 minute face to face appointments between you and the class teacher. Please book a slot with your child’s class teacher via the Care diary.
Please look out for the poster, coming via ParentHub, confirming Christmas events. We were just waiting for confirmation from Father Christmas and his reindeer friends that they could make a visit to school before we shared the dates with you. You will also see that Orchard Phase have their Christmas Shows in December this year. Woodland and Forest Phase will have their performances in January and more details, including dates & themes, will be shared closer to the time.
