A huge thank you to all our parents, carers and families from Olivia and I as we end our first term as Co-Headteachers. It has been such a busy time which started
with many children moving to a new classroom, teacher or peer group, along with 22 new pupils joining the school.
Your ongoing support and dedication to Hob Moor Oaks is amazing. We ended the year with 15 curriculum visits, 2 Christmas performances, a Christmas Fayre
which raised £553.01, and finished this week with our Sing and Sign Parties. So many of you joined us for these fantastic events.
Another “Thank You” to all our dedicated Hob Moor Oaks staff for their energy, creativity and support throughout this busy autumn term. Please have a wonderful
Christmas holiday; rest and recuperate ready for 2025!
It is that time of the year when we have to say “Goodbye and Good Luck” to several of our staff team.
We wish Emma Crampton lots of luck as she prepares to relocate and start her new role as a Teaching Assistant in another school.
We also want to say all the best to Nina Melrose. She has worked within HMO for several years, progressing from her starting role as an MCA to her current role as
a TA3.
Last but not least, we have to say goodbye and good luck to Dan Walmsley, HLTA, who leaves to join Teach Me Happy. Dan started at HMO in September 2014. In
his roles, he has worked with a huge number of pupils, past and present, alongside covering PPA, he has taken on responsibilities such as MATP, Rebound Therapy
and more recently as a NAPPI trainer.
We wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year.
We look forward to welcoming children back into school on Tuesday 7th January 2025.
