Welcome back everyone! I hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter break, filled with either spirituality, rest, adventure, lots of chocolate or all four! Our first week back has been filled with curriculum coverage, dental nurse Ruth Harrison from Harrogate and District NHS Trust visited classes to support the children’s knowledge of oral health and the importance of good tooth brushing routines; Trunks, Oak Leaves and Roots have enjoyed visits to Eureka; Twigs class welcomed some very cute and fluffy visitors, inviting the whole school to come and interact with lambs and chicks; as well as Shona Morgan inviting transport providers into school for some SEND training to drivers and PTAs…all in five days! We have a very busy half term ahead with parent workshops, the second Lea Green trip, the King’s Coronation celebrations and educational visits.
NEU Strike action does impact our school for Thursday 27th April, but there are currently no class closures on this occasion. Individual information will be sent to classes who may have a different member of staff teaching that day via parent hub.
This week we welcome Carrie Drewer, our new School Business Partner, to Hob Moor!
