Dear Parents and Carers,
The final week of term has been a very busy one. I have been out of school for 4 days on my NAPPI Trainer recertification. Olivia has been in school during this time, and has been able to get to know the new children who started with us in September, along with members of the team who have joined us since she started her maternity leave.
This week Orchard Phase have started their trips to Flamingo Land and then when we come back after Easter, Forest Phase trips will be happening.
Thank you to the children and families who sent in entries for our Easter Egg and Bonnet Competitions. They were judged by the Admin team and the winners were announced in today’s assembly.
Egg winners – 1st = Joey in Oak Leaves, 2nd = Harry in Boughs, 3rd = Jake in Oak Leaves
Bonnet winners – 1st = Daniel in Green Shoots, 2nd = Ava in Branches, 3rd = Albie in Seedlings
Today we said goodbye to Wendy, Seedlings Class teacher, as she leaves HMO for a new teaching role in Australia! Wendy has worked in a range of classes with many children over her time with us. Over the last two years Wendy has also worked tirelessly as our “Moving and Handling” coordinator. We wish Wendy safe travels and lots of luck.
Today we have also said goodbye to Belinda one of our MCAs, as she leaves us to move to an OT role within OT4Me. Good luck Belinda.
Wishing you all a wonderful Easter with your families.
