Dear Parents and Carers,
I can’t believe that we are now at the halfway point of the Summer Term. While the weather this week has been changeable, it hasn’t stopped planned trips taking place or children’s access to the outdoor provision.
Woodland Phase have had two lovely visits to Monk Park Farm this week. A BIG thank you to the staff and parents who have been involved with these. After half term we will share some photos from these trips. Overleaf are some photos from last weeks Forest Phase visits to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. I also need to mention that Orchard Phase enjoyed a camping experience in the Sensory Garden this morning.
Today in assembly we said goodbye to Sorrell in Green Shoots. We wish her lots of luck as she travels across the world & furthers her career .
We have added as many diary dates as possible to the list on the right, and will continue to keep you updated of any more that we include.
This week we sent out letters to invite you all to the “Special Men in our children’s lives” afternoon on Friday 14th June from 1.45pm to 2.45pm. Please ensure that you let us know who will be attending so we know who to expect on the day.
Next half term will continue to be busy with events such as Sports Day, school visits, the Family Fun Day, the two final Year 6 visits to Lea Green and, of course, our Y6 Leavers Celebrations.
I am hopeful that we will see an improvement in the weather over the holiday and the sunshine we saw a few weeks ago will return. Wishing you all a restful half term with your children and families, and we look forward to welcoming children back into school on Monday 3rd June.
