Well, what a busy first term of 2023/24!
We are so proud to have welcomed and settled 30 new children and families into our school community. This term our pupils have had successful community visits across all phases. Any that had to be cancelled will be rescheduled next term. This is all in addition to the wonderful thematic learning which has been taking place across the school around “All about me!”
This morning it was wonderful to see so many children in their Halloween outfits ready for the party this afternoon. This included witches, spiders, cats and skeletons. Hopefully the rain will stay away until the end of the school day!
Over the last few weeks we have commissioned a new mural in the school reception area. I am sure you will agree that it is a lovely new feature to welcome children and visitors into the school each day.
As we end the school term, we say “Goodbye” to Lynn, one of our Health Care Assistants, who leaves HMO today. We will miss her and wish her lots of luck!
Thank you for all your support during this busy half term. Enjoy your holiday, Halloween and all things Guy Fawkes. We look forward to starting new topics and learning with your children, and the start of the Christmas festivities on our return!
