In our unique and special Federation we aim to provide a safe, happy, caring and inclusive learning community in which every child can thrive and do their best. We aim for excellence in everything we do.  We aim for excellence in everything we do so that there is:

Our children are valued both as individuals and as part of the wider Federation community.

We want our children to:

• Be learners and to love learning
• Be the best they can be in all areas of school life: academic, social, emotional and physical development
• Make excellent progress in everything they do so that they can grow and develop to their full potential
• Feel happy and safe and healthy

We aim to:

• Provide a nurturing and friendly ethos where children are respected and valued and where individual needs are recognised and supported.
• Bring out the best in every child irrespective of any learning difficulties they may have and regardless of their gender, race, colour, religious beliefs or family background.
• Provide for each child as many different learning experiences as possible, in a safe and secure environment.

Hob Moor Oaks Core Values 

Our school has 6 core values which we implement into our daily school life. We chose and developed these values to help all stakeholders to celebrate our vision. 

I am ME – Celebrating uniqueness and personal learning journeys 

I am SAFE – Supporting our pupils to have kind hands, feet and words. As well as, supporting our pupils to live a healthy lifestyle which also emcompasses pupils accessing medical support, physical support or feeding support. 

I am CURIOUS – We want our learners to be engaged, inquisitive and excited about learning and interactions! 

I am NURTURED – People and their relationships  need care, respect and advocacy. 

I BELONG – Our community is a strength of the school. Everyone who is part of our Hob Moor Oaks community must feel a sense of belonging and make a positive contribution. 

I am PREPARED – Preparation is needed daily to help our children engage with their learner, whether that be having the appropriate equipment to access learning, symbols to help organise their day or longer term skills to prepare children for their next phase of life and into adulthood.
