Headteacher Update 12th April 2024

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back to the summer term! I’m hopeful that the lovely weather which began to make an appearance at the end of the   holidays will continue through the term.

Firstly, a huge thank you to all parents for your support with the changes to the school pick up and drop offs which we made at the start of the week. We have seen a huge positive change in the reception area, and this in turn has impacted on children arriving in school regulated.

Just a gentle reminder about school uniform. We do have a school uniform policy and we encourage all children to wear their uniform not only as a reference for their day at school, but also to provide a sense of community. I am attaching the school uniform poster as a reminder of the expectations for all pupils in school. If you have any concerns about school uniform, please contact your child’s class teacher. The WEB team also have a range of donated items so please get in touch if you need certain things.

As part of todays training day, we have continued our work on Safer Working Practices and Unconditional Positive Regard for Pupils & Staff. We also had time to work together on activities which are highly regulating  as well as meet with David Wheeler, the Trust’s Director of People and Culture, to give him feedback on what it’s like to work at HMO.
